Connect player video to projector: Player video out RCA to projector video in RCA - typically yellow coded.

If using for audio, connect player to public address (P/A) system: using cables and mixer in sound closet, player audio out RCA to 1/4" plug to 4 channel mixer Input 1 (P/A is not stereo - if media is stereo use cables to connect each white and red audio out to mixer channel), 1/4" plug mixer output to XLR plug into P/A wall jack (1, 2, or 3). Mixer needs 9v battery. Closet has batteries and tester and charger. Adjust channel input knob (knobs if stereo) and red master knob for best sound.

PLAYING POWERPOINT IMAGES:

Player can read JPG images from any kind of CD or DVD.
To prepare a disk: From within PowerPoint stop on each slide and File | Save As | save as type JPEG. Number the Save As images with 2 numeric digits and then any words you want, e.g. 01 Overview, 02 View From Above, … etc. The 2 numeric digits determine the order the player shows them. Then copy the saved JPEG images to a CD or DVD (any kind, -R, -RW, +R, +RW) as data. On some computers, you can actually Save As to the CD or DVD. Be sure to complete the copy process so the CD or DVD can be played. Test view any DVD or CD on a computer or this player in advance.

To show the JPG images use the player's remote control: Slide switch to DVD/Video. Power on (green). Select DVD. Press eject ± above SELECT. Place disk in player. Press eject again to load disk. Media type menu appears. Use up and down arrows (around ENTER towards bottom of control) and press ENTER to select file type. First image should appear. Use PREV and NEXT buttons above PLAY PAUSE STOP buttons to control sequencing. When done power off or STOP or whatever you want.
